One of the best things about CommuniGate is its speed and stability. It's very fast and efficient. Can Message Sniffer keep up or will it slow down message processing like other spam / virus filters?

In production, the Message Sniffer plugin (CGPSNF - available for download on our Products page) is typically as fast as CommuniGate.

For one thing SNF doesn't make any off-server lookups in real-time so there are never any delays waiting for responses. The plugin is designed to handle as many concurrent message scans as CommuniGate needs and it has been carefully engineered to minimize and conserve resource allocations and contention so that every step of the scanning process can occur at full speed.

Here is some actual telemetry from one of our production spamtrap processors - it shows CommuniGate and MessageSniffer processing nearly twenty thousand messages per minute (in this case 18938.8). We see bursts like this frequently, sometimes these bursts are sustained for 10 or more minutes at a time with no queuing and no stability issues.
