How do I download/install latest .exe for sniffer?

Most likley you will need to stop message processing in order to upgrade your SNF installation.

For Version 2

1. Find or build the sniffer.exe for your operating system.
2. Rename that file for your license ID.
3. Make a backup copy of your current .exe
4. Copy the new .exe over the current .exe

For Version 3

1. Download the lastest distribution for your platform.
2. Make backup copies of your existing SNF executables (or plugin DLLs).
3. Copy the newer SNF executables over the current executables.

It is always a good idea to read any readme files and/or release notes before upgrading any software.

Note: Version 3 configuration files for newer releases are intended to be backward compatible to previous Version 3 configuration files (2-9beta also). You should not need to change your configuration file when you upgrade unless you want to take advantage of newer features UNLESS a required / recommended change is indicated in the documentation.
